Fishing is an important local industry so seafood is often on the menu at the local cafes and restaurants. Take a stroll into Apollo Bay and try a few out. Got a taste for fine seafood? Visit in February for the Apollo Bay Seafood Festival. Weekend visitors will love the regular Saturday foreshore market for local crafts, artworks, and fresh produce.
Apollo Bay and the surrounding Otway National Park is a mecca for nature-based activities including some unique experiences such as walking through nearby Melba Gully rainforest at night to check out resident Glow Worms. Hike the Great Ocean Walk between Apollo Bay and the Twelve Apostles. Or snorkel or dive Marengo Reefs Marine Sanctuary with resident Seal Colony.

Great place to stay, we loved it ! Very nice welcome by the lady at the reception, clean and spacey accommodation, well-equipped kitchen and splendid ocean-views. Super, highly recommended for families with children who are looking for an affordable place to celebrate their holidays.
This was my favourite park on my Great Ocean Road journey. The cabin itself was very generous in size and had it's own private enclosed decking where I could sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view I had. Dog friendly too!!
Relax in our small, beachfront park, with a great range of facilities and the sound of the ocean in the background.
